§ 20.03. Property rights, contracts, obligations, causes of action and legal proceedings continued.

Latest version.

All rights and titles to property, all rights and obligations under contracts or trusts, and all causes of action of any kind in any court or tribunal vested in the City of Nashville or the County of Davidson or in any officer or employee thereof in his or her official capacity, at the time this Charter becomes effective, as well as all liabilities in contract or tort and causes of action involving the same in so far as they affect the City of Nashville or the County of Davidson or any officer or employee thereof in his or her official capacity which shall be outstanding at the time this Charter becomes effective, shall continue without abatement or modification by reason of any provision of this Charter.
