§ 20.13. Appointments to administrative boards and commissions; former boards and commissions continued.

The metropolitan mayor shall appoint promptly and at least within thirty (30) days after he or she shall take office all members of boards and commissions whom this Charter authorizes him or her to appoint. Unless otherwise provided by this Charter, all boards and commissions of the former City of Nashville and of the former County of Davidson are continued for a period of sixty (60) days after the effective date of this Charter or until the board, commission or other agency succeeding to its rights, powers, duties and obligations is organized, whichever date or event occurs earlier.
