§ 14.32. Continuation of juvenile court; jurisdiction of metropolitan general sessions court limited in juvenile matters.

The juvenile court for Davidson County created by chapter 390 of the Private Acts
of 1953 is hereby recognized as a court of the metropolitan government of Nashville
and Davidson County. Pursuant to section 7-3-311, Tennessee Code Annotated, said court
is hereby provided for and continued, with all rights, duties, powers, obligations,
privileges and responsibilities as set forth in said chapter 390 of the Private Acts
of 1953 and any acts amendatory thereof. The jurisdiction of the metropolitan general
sessions court created by section 14.01 of this Charter shall not extend to matters over which the juvenile court shall have
been given exclusive jurisdiction by said section 7-3-311, or other applicable law.
