§ 18.11. Authorization to council with respect to certain special appropriations.

The council is hereby authorized to include in the annual operating budget for the general services district the following:

(a)

A sum not in excess of twelve thousand five hundred dollars ($12,500.00) for any year for the use of Nashville Humane Association.

(b)

A sum not in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for any year for the use of Nashville Children's Museum, of Nashville, Tennessee.

(c)

The sum necessary for the purpose of paying dues or assessments of the metropolitan government for the cost of operating the following organizations and similar nonprofit organizations: The Tennessee Municipal League, Tennessee County Services Association, the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers and the Southern Building Code Congress.

(d)

A sum not in excess of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) for any year for the use of the Nashville Symphony Association of Nashville, Tennessee.
