§ 11.1004. Same—Powers and duties.

The director shall be the chief administrative officer in charge of the management of public parks, playgrounds and other recreational areas and of a comprehensive recreation program for the area of the metropolitan government. He or she shall administer the policies of the board, recommend rules and regulations to the board for its consideration, and perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by the board or by ordinance.
