§ 3.17. Survivor benefits.

The survivor, determined in accordance with the provisions of Section 3.16, shall receive a monthly survivor benefit which shall be payable for the period of time set forth in Section 3.16 and which shall equal sixty percent (60%) of the benefit computed in the same manner set forth in Section 3.10, except that such computation shall be made as of the date of death of the member or retired member of Division B provided, however, that such monthly survivor benefit shall not be more than one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per month or less than fifty dollars ($50.00) per month.
