§ 11.36.120. Disposition of confiscated weapons.

All pistols, knives and other weapons, the carrying of which is unlawful, which may be found upon any persons arrested by the police, shall be seized by the chief of police and shall be turned over to the clerk of the metropolitan court, and disposed of by order of the metropolitan judge as required by law, and shall in no case be returned to the individual from whom the same were taken, or to anyone claiming the same.
