§ 12.12.010. Installation—Chief traffic engineer authority.

The department of public works shall place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals and devices when and as required under the traffic regulations of the metropolitan government to make effective the provisions of such regulations, and may place and maintain such additional traffic-control devices as he may deem necessary to regulate traffic under the traffic regulations of the metropolitan government or under state law, or to guide or warn traffic.
