§ 12.16.220. Driving on streets under construction prohibited.

    It is unlawful for any person or any event thereof, to drive or cause to be driven, any vehicle upon, over or across any freshly oiled street or pavement in the city which is in the process of construction or is being repaired, and which has not been opened to the use of the public, except an authorized emergency vehicle while engaged in emergency duty, nor shall drive such vehicle upon any street or highway which is officially closed to traffic and which is plainly indicated as such by officially erected signs, barricades or other traffic-control devices.
