§ 12.40.190. Night parking restrictions—Tank trucks, school buses and certain other vehicles.

  • A.

    It is unlawful for any person owning or operating a tank truck or any other self-propelled vehicle used for the purpose of transporting more than fifty gallons of gasoline, kerosene, benzol, naphtha or other volatile liquids, to leave such vehicle parked on any of the streets or alleys within the jurisdiction of the metropolitan government during the hours between sunset and sunrise, regardless of whether such vehicle is loaded or empty.

    B.

    It is unlawful for any person owning or operating a school bus, a recreational vehicle with a length in excess of twenty-four feet, any recreational vehicle with a combined length in excess of twenty-four feet, or a dump truck of more than fifty-four thousand pounds of gross weight, including the load therein, to leave such vehicle parked on any of the streets or alleys within the jurisdiction of the metropolitan government during the hours between sunset and sunrise, regardless of whether such vehicle is loaded or empty.
