§ 12.54.080. Operation of horse-drawn carriage after suspension.

  • A.

    After receipt of notice of suspension, revocation, or denial of certificate renewal, the certificate holder shall, on the date specified in the notice, discontinue driving a horse-drawn carriage for hire inside the metropolitan government area and shall surrender the written certificate to the commission director.

    B.

    If the certificate holder appeals the suspension or revocation under this section, the certificate holder may continue to operate the horse-drawn carriage pending the appeal unless:

    1.

    The certificate of the certificate holder is suspended pursuant to subsection regarding felony arrest or violation of DUI laws;

    2.

    The commission director determines that continued operation by the certificate holder would impose an immediate threat to public safety.
