§ 12.54.160. Investigation of applicant.

  • A.

    The commission shall conduct an investigation of each applicant for a horse-drawn carriage driver's permit including all appropriate local, state and federal databases and/or sources of information. The commission may request the metro police department to assist it in conducting the investigation, and the commission may adopt by rule such fees as necessary to cover any costs associated with this investigation.

    B.

    The commission director may conduct such other investigation, as he or she considers necessary to determine whether an applicant for a horse-drawn carriage driver's permit is qualified.
