§ 15.12.190. Damage resulting from pressure changes—Customer's responsibility.

  • Under no conditions shall the department be responsible for any damage caused to equipment within the consumer's or customer's premises by raising or lowering the pressure in the mains of the department's distribution system. It shall be incumbent upon the consumer or customer to install in his service line between the metropolitan government's main and the inside of his premises such pressure-regulating devices as may be necessary to prohibit excessive pressure from being transmitted from the metropolitan government's main to the inside of his premises.
