All gate valves shall open to the right (clockwise) and shall have a two-inch square
nut on top of the stem, with the exception of valves two inches and under in size,
which shall have wheel control. All gate valves shall be of a kind and make specified
by the department.
B.
All gate valves set inside meter boxes, either ahead or after the meter, shall open
to the left (counterclockwise). All such valves shall have wheel control and shall
be of a kind and make specified by the department.
