The provisions of this article shall govern the minimum standards, conditions and
responsibilities of persons or entities that own, occupy, operate or otherwise control
any residential or nonresidential building, structure, or premises, under the jurisdiction
of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, including the maintenance of equipment,
exterior property, and the exteriors and interiors of buildings and structures.
