§ 16.28.040. Application.

  • A.

    Each application for a permit required by this chapter with the required fee, shall be filed with the director of codes administration on a form furnished by him, and shall contain a general description of the proposed work and its location. The application shall be signed by the owner or his authorized agent.

    B.

    Each application for a permit shall indicate the proposed occupancy of all parts of the building and of that portion of the site or lot, if any, not covered by the building or structure, and shall contain such other information as may be required by the director.

    C.

    No permit shall be issued pursuant to this chapter if, within the past twelve months, the applicant or property owner has been found by a court of law having jurisdiction over such matters of violating a stop work order issued pursuant to Section 16.04.110 of the metropolitan code of laws for the property for which the permit is sought, or of violating Tennessee Code Annotated § 7-51-1201 by demolishing a historic residential structure on the property for which the permit is sought.

    D.

    Every application for a permit required by this chapter shall include a proposed plan for the disposal of construction and demolition waste generated on the property by the activity for which the permit is sought. Such plan shall include a statement, signed by the applicant, providing that no construction and demolition waste will be stored on the property that is not in compliance with Chapter 16.24 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws.
