§ 2.24.380. Administering agency.

  • The metropolitan development and housing agency ("MDHA") is designated as the agency with responsibility for administering the relocation assistance program established pursuant to this section. The metropolitan county mayor is authorized to enter into a contract or contracts with MDHA pursuant to which MDHA shall perform said responsibility for an amount not to exceed its actual reasonable expenses in administering the program. Upon the execution of such a contract or contracts, MDHA shall adopt rules, regulations and procedures consistent with the provisions of this section which, after being approved by the director of finance, shall be filed with the metropolitan clerk. This section is in no way intended to make the provisions of the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance Act governing the acquisition of property binding on the metropolitan government.
