§ 2.38.030. Personnel.

All employees of the medical examiner's office of the metropolitan government, other than those hired pursuant to contract, shall be in the classified service as contemplated by the provisions of Article 12 of the Metropolitan Charter, and as administered by the metropolitan civil service commission. Current employees of the county medical examiner's office shall be transferred to the medical examiner's office of the metropolitan government, subject to the approval of the metropolitan civil service commission.
