§ 2.44.040. Zones, districts or precincts established—Assignment of personnel.

The chief of police shall establish zones, districts or precincts, and assign members of the department of metropolitan police to their respective posts, shifts, details and duties consistent with their rank. He may make such changes in assignments to posts and duties as he considers will enable the department to best fulfill its functions.
