§ 2.44.140. Rules and regulations applicable to personnel—Exceptions—Appointment of new members.

The rules and regulations adopted by the metropolitan civil service commission for the classified service employees of the metropolitan government on August 18, 1964, shall apply to the employees of the school crossing guard division, except where any such rule may be in conflict with the limited tenure provision of this article. This article recognizes that the employees of the school crossing guard division are not entitled to vacations, sick leave, overtime, or any other fringe benefits not recognized by the metropolitan council. The chief of police shall appoint new employees to fill vacancies from an eligible list to be maintained by the director.
