  • A.

The metropolitan court clerk shall collect the costs imposed herein from each person who is found to be guilty of violating a metropolitan ordinance, and such costs shall be collected at the same time and substantially simultaneous with the collection of the fine imposed, if any.

    B.

In all cases where a fine is imposed, if the amount of money paid to the metropolitan court clerk is insufficient to pay the fine and costs, then the amount so paid shall be used first to pay the costs imposed herein, and the remaining amount to pay the fine.
