§ 2.76.030. Term of office—Maximum number of terms.

  • Of the seven members of the board of electrical examiners and appeals first appointed, two shall be appointed for a term of one year, two shall be appointed for a term of two years, two shall be appointed for a term of three years, and one shall be appointed for a term of four years; provided, that the two metropolitan electrical contractors' terms shall not expire at the same time and the two electricians' terms shall not expire at the same time. Thereafter, each member shall be appointed for a term of four years and shall serve until his successor is appointed, except that no members shall serve for more than two consecutive four-year terms.
