§ 2.84.030. Organization and officers.

A.

Within ten days following its appointment, the board of gas/mechanical examiners and appeals shall meet and organize itself by election of one of its members as chairman and another as vice-chairman. The chairman and vice-chairman shall each serve in their respective capacities for a period of one year, unless subsequently elected to serve for a longer period.

B.

The director of codes administration or his duly authorized representative shall serve as secretary to the board, and shall be custodian of the minutes and records of the proceedings of the board. The director shall be an ex officio member of the board and shall not have a vote on any matter under consideration by the board.
