§ 4.08.020. Procurement standards board—Powers and duties.

    The standards board shall have the authority and responsibility to promulgate regulations, consistent with this code, governing the procurement, management, control and disposal of any and all supplies, services and construction to be procured by the metropolitan government and all its departments, boards, commissions, officers and agencies, except those set out in Section 4.04.020(C) of this code.

    B.

    The standards board shall consider and decide matters of policy within the provisions of this code, including those referred to it by the purchasing agent. The standards board shall have the power to audit and monitor the implementation of its regulations and the requirements of this code, but shall not exercise authority over the award or administration of any particular contract or over any dispute, claim or litigation pertaining thereto.
