§ 4.12.120. Prequalification of suppliers—Lists of established suppliers.

A.

The standards board may, by regulation, allow the prequalification of prospective suppliers for particular types of supplies, services and construction. Solicitation mailing lists of potential contractors shall include, but shall not be limited to, such prequalified suppliers.

B.

In accordance with regulations adopted by the standards board, the purchasing agent may maintain lists of established suppliers. Those regulations may allow the maintenance of lists by type of materials or services to be furnished or by other categories, may authorize selective mailings of invitations to bid based on specific criteria, and may provide for removal from the lists.
