§ 4.12.150. Term contracts.

  • A.

    "Term contract" means a contract in which a source or sources of supply are established for a specified period of time at an agreed upon unit price(s).

    B.

    More than one term contract may be let for the supply of any given class or type of supplies, equipment or service.

    C.

    After term contracts have been awarded, the purchasing agent shall certify the sources of supply and the contract price for the various supplies, material, equipment and services so contracted for. The departments, agencies, boards and commissions of metropolitan government shall purchase from the source of supply contracts, unless authorized elsewhere in this code or by regulations of the standards board.
