§ 4.16.050. Relationship with using agencies.

The purchasing agent shall obtain expert advice and assistance from personnel of the using agencies in the development of specifications and may delegate in writing to a using agency the authority to prepare and/or utilize its own specifications. Utilization of any specifications prepared by a using agency shall be subject to the approval of the purchasing agent.
