§ 4.40.030. Surety bonds and insurance.

The purchasing agent shall procure surety bonds and other types of bonds and insurance through sealed competitive bidding. The metropolitan council shall approve the plan for fire and extended coverage insurance by resolution. The resolution shall also include the name of the low bidder or bidders for the insurance.
