§ 4.44.040. Discretionary duties of the purchasing agent.

    Bonding. Notwithstanding other provisions of this the purchasing agent may reduce the level or change the types of bonding normally required or accept alternative forms of security to the extent reasonably necessary to encourage procurement from small, disadvantaged, and service-disabled veteran owned businesses.

    B.

    Progress Payments. The purchasing agent may make such special provisions for progress payments as such officer may deem reasonably necessary to encourage procurement from small, disadvantaged, and service-disabled veteran owned businesses.
