§ 6.20.170. Work stoppage order.

    In the event an electrical contractor, as defined in subsection B of Section 6.20.130, ceases to employ the services of a master electrician, the director of codes administration shall notify such electrical contractor that he shall no longer be entitled to secure permits and that any work authorized and not completed, under any permit issued to such contractor, shall be stopped within forty-eight hours after notice, subject to an appeal by such contractor to the metropolitan board of electrical examiners and appeals with the forty-eight-hour period, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays falling within the forty-eight-hour period.

    B.

    Such notice, by the director, shall be in writing and shall be delivered to the electrical contractor by certified mail, or served personally on such contractor.
