§ 6.26.120. Temporary removal of facilities for demolition of buildings.

  • Upon the request of a person holding a permit issued by the metropolitan government for the moving or demolition of a building, and at least ten days' notice, grantee shall temporarily raise, lower or remove its facilities to permit the removal or demolition of such building. The expense of such temporary removal, raising or lowering of facilities shall be paid by the person requesting the same and grantee shall have the authority to require such payment in advance; provided, however, that no payment (direct or indirect) shall be required of the metropolitan government.
