§ 6.26.270. Extension of term.

  • If, on the expiration date, grantee shall not be in default under the franchise, and if neither party has notified the other of its intent to terminate the franchise on or before the expiration date, then the terms of this franchise shall be deemed extended on an interim basis until terminated, renewed or renegotiated. Said interim extension period shall not extend beyond a date sixty days after the expiration date, after which date the franchise shall be considered terminated and all rights of the grantee to use the public rights-of-way to provide telecommunications services shall cease.
