The standards of weights and measures of solids, liquids and dry commodities for the
metropolitan government shall be under the same standards of weights and measures
provided by the Federal Bureau of Standards, and designated as follows:

STANDARDS, Lyman G. Briggs, Director, National Bureau of Standards Handbook H22, Superseding
Handbook M85, Specifications, Tolerances, and Regulations for Commercial Weights and
Measures and Weighing and Measuring Devices. (Issued Feb. 3, 1939)"
