§ 6.76.300. Brakes inspection required when.

  • When coal, coke, stone, gravel and other heavy commodities are sold by persons not regularly engaged and maintaining a place of business for such purpose within the metropolitan government area who make deliveries of the same within the metropolitan government area, such persons shall not haul such heavy commodities over the streets, alleys and highways unless the vehicle in which same is being hauled shall have had its brakes inspected and approved within ten days of such haul, such inspection to be at the approval of the sealer of weights and measures or the weighmaster.
