§ 6. Compensation.

  • The compensation of said parole officer shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month, the same to be paid out of the Ordinary Fund of the county, said payments to be made on voucher issued by the appointing authorities. Said parole officer shall be entitled to the benefits of the Davidson County Pension and Retirement Act, but shall not be subject to civil service. In addition to the salary above provided, said parole officer shall be reimbursed from the same source as above set forth for his reasonable, necessary and actual expenses incurred in the discharge of his duties as such parole officer, an itemized list of said expenses to be submitted, under oath, to the criminal judges and the district attorney general and approved by them before payment; but in no event to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per month.
