§ 2.18. Disability not in line of duty—Conditions.

A member of Division A who is an employee, who has completed fifteen (15) years of credited service, and who has become disabled as defined in Section 2.17 shall be eligible to retire from the active employment of the employer on his disability retirement date, which shall be the first day of the month following the determination by the pension commission that he is disabled, and to receive a disability benefit as provided in Section 2.19.
