A member of Division A shall receive a monthly disability retirement benefit, which
shall be payable on his disability retirement date, as defined in Section 2.18, and on the first day of each month thereafter during the period of his disability,
as defined in Section 2.17, and during his lifetime. Such monthly disability retirement benefit shall be computed
in the same manner set forth in Section 2.12 except that such computation shall be made as of his disability retirement date and
the amount of such benefit shall not be less than fifty dollars ($50.00) per month.
A member of Division A shall also receive, upon retirement on his disability retirement
date, as defined in Section 2.18, a lump sum benefit equal to six (6) months of his monthly disability retirement
benefits.
